Harrod UK scores again at Wembley

It's been four years since the new Wembley Stadium opened its doors back in 2007, and since then it has played host to a myriad of top class events, both sporting and otherwise.

The spotlight will be firmly fixed on Wembley once again this weekend as the 90,000 seats fill with fans from across Europe to watch Manchester United battle Barcelona in the Champion's League Final, with all attention firmly fixed on the goals that may come from the likes of Messi, Rooney or Hernandez.

The all-important goal posts are supplied by Harrod UK, who won the original contract to become the official goal post and net suppliers to Wembley Stadium.

The East Anglian based company is now delighted to announce that the original contract has been renewed and Harrod goals are set to stay on the hallowed turf for many years to come.

Harrod UK's Sales & Marketing Director Les Saunders explains: "We are very proud to have renewed our agreement with Wembley Stadium.

"It's a real thrill for our staff to supply the National Stadium, especially as the Champion's League Final is beamed in to homes all across the world.

"We firmly believe that continued investment into our manufacturing facilities, such as the recent addition of a new £500,000 state-of-the-art powder coating line, enable us to remain at the forefront of the market and win prestigious contracts such as this".

This contract ensures that the company continues to supply all the National Stadiums in Great Britain, as their goals can be found not only at Wembley, but also Twickenham, the Millennium Stadium, Hampden Park and Murrayfield.
